Memento Records proudly celebrates the landmark 10th anniversary this 2016 with a series of events that will showcase its artistic journey throughout the years.
First release “Hasta La Baldoria” from Roger a.k.a. Fabrizio Maurizi kickstarted a successful string of EPs and albums – both digital and on vinyl – from label founder Idriss D and from the main roster of artists including Francesco Bergomi, Lino Pugliese, Blue Mondays, Matthe and gAs. A number of established names such as Andrea Oliva, Argy, Eduardo De La Calle, Mirko Loko, Arnaud Le Texier, Marco Effe, Ernesto Ferreyra and Bloody Mary joined the catalogue with one-off releases, remixes and collaborations, along with emerging talents such as Acirne, Alfonso Leon and Echonomist. Special appearances by the likes of Cadenza’s superstar Luciano and Spanish top man Paco Osuna also graced the label, making Memento one of the most respected underground labels on the European Techno and House scenes.
To celebrate this cornerstone year, Memento Records has launched Memento XS in January – a weekly residency at Barcelona’s Macarena Club every Monday – bringing in a lineup of names like Carl Craig and Portable, quickly becoming one of the most talked about nights in the city’s clubland.
In addition to this, Memento Records is throwing 10 parties in 2016 in 10 exclusive locations around Europe called Memento TEN, welcoming fellow artists and friends to join the label’s key players for a special gig in selected venues until Dec. 31st.
